Wireless Washtenaw is on the Move.

20/20 Communications is pleased to announce Wireless Washtenaw coverage has expanded in the southwest corner of Washtenaw County. 20/20 installed additional capacity at the Manchester Water Tower and boosted the coverage area from 2 up to 28 square miles. The new coverage touches parts of Freedom, Sharon, Manchester and Bridgewater townships.

Over the past four (4) weeks, a Wireless Washtenaw representative has been contacting pre-registered residents within the new 28 square mile area. Of those contacted, 31 signed up for service and 14 requested a call back after the holidays. Installations are underway as weather permits.

Freedom Township resident Ray Berg was one of the first to receive the expanded service. Ray reports he is receiving an excellent signal and was able to run four (4) computers at his home simultaneously without any performance degradation.

Dennis Sullivan was the first to receive the service in Bridgewater Township. Dennis reports the installers were professional and accommodating for antenna placement and the fast Internet service is great.

As with all wireless transmissions, coverage is subject to tree and terrain conditions.

20/20 Communications is committed to Wireless Washtenaw’s success. While continuing to pursue equity investors, 20/20 is able to provide this expansion by using its own funds acquired through other revenue sources.
