20/20 Communications began broadcasting the Wireless Washtenaw SSID, 2020WWRoam, from all pilot radios as scheduled on Friday, December 1.

Dry runs of the NOC emergency notification procedures were also tested on December 1st.

During the week beginning Monday, December 4, select county officials and 20/20 staff were given and began using Wireless Washtenaw accounts.

We've received the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) radios for use on Manchester and Saline Pilot Participant houses. Equipment installations and activation of Manchester and Saline Pilot participants are scheduled to begin Thursday, December 7th.

The Ann Arbor pilot is also underway. CPE radios for the Ann Arbor pilot are on order. The expected delivery date is Friday, December 8th. A CPE is not required in Ann Arbor for those using the network outside or in restaurants where Wireless Washtenaw is broadcast. A list of those restaurants, taverns and Coffee Shops will be made available as they come online.

A search for the appropriate billing package or service began today. Siemens (Chris Thelander and Ron Bose) presented the Siemens Managed Billing Service package.
