| As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties.
20/20 Communications cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, such as: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights, to help protect customers from harmful and/or illegal intent. We will not disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith the disclosure of information is necessary to: prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity.
Because the Internet is an inherently open and insecure means of communication, we cannot ensure all of a customer’s private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
Because of the range of services 20/20 Communications offers, there are cases where personal information such as your name, address and phone number will need to be shared with our telecommunication service providers. Examples would be 123.net, ACD, Century Tel, or AT&T. We would only supply information necessary to complete an order you have made for a particular product, such as T1 or DSL service. We are required to do this under these circumstances in order to deliver the service requested across infrastructure owned by that service provider.
20/20 Communications partners with a third party to deliver or facilitate delivery of advertisements to our customers while they are surfing the web. These advertisements will be based on those customers anonymous surfing behavior while they are on line. This anonymous information will not include those customers name, email address, telephone number, or any other personally identifiable information. If the customer desires to opt out of the advertising partner, the customer will continue to receive advertisements as normal; except these advertisements will be less relevant and less useful to the customer. A customer may opt out by clicking here or visiting http://www.nebuad.com/privacy/servicesPrivacy.php. |
