| Jon R. Zeeff is the Chief Network Engineer on the Wireless Washtenaw project for 20/20 Communications. Zeeff joined Ivars Upatnieks at IC.Net in 2004 providing technical design and support for co-location, networks, VoIP and Web Management.
Zeeff began his career in 1984 as a partner with Ann Arbor software firm Branch Technologies providing lab software to large pharmaceutical companies. In 1993, Zeeff broke with the firm and formed his own company, Branch Internet Services.
From 1993 to until 1998, Branch IS and Zeeff provided businesses with Web Site Development, hosting and Internet access. It was the first company ever to develop and implement a web based eCommerce site. Zeeff sold the company to Verio, continued to work as their CTO for a year until forming his next venture, Solid Speed. Solid Speed raised $2MM in venture capital and began providing website acceleration to businesses. In 2003 Zeeff joined Internet 2 as an applications engineer developing and testing advanced Internet applications using the expanded bandwidth provided by Internet 2..
Zeeff was born and raised in areas surrounding Lansing, Michigan where he attended Okemos High School. Zeeff relocated to Ann Arbor in 1979 to attend the University of Michigan where received his Bachelor of Science Engineering (BSE) degree in Computer Engineering in 1984. He is an avid equestrian and has won several awards and blue ribbons in the Eventing and Jumpers categories. |
