Windows Mail (Vista)


To set up your Windows Mail client to work with 20/20 Communications' mail server :

  1. Open Windows Mail.
  2. Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts...
  3. Click Add...,
  4. Select Email Account and click Next.
  5. Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the 'From:' field of outgoing messages, and click Next.
  6. Enter your full email address
  7. Enter mail.2020comm.net in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: field.
    Enter smtp.2020comm.net in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Enter your email address in the E-mail username: field. Enter your password in the Password: field.
  10. Click Next, and then check the box next to Do not download my e-mail at this time. Click Finish.
  11. Highlight mail.2020comm.net under Account, and click Properties.
  12. Click the Servers tab, and check the box next to My server requires authentication.
  13. Click OK.

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve email messages.
