Updating you settings for the June 1st upgrade.

Complete the following steps in this order...

Select Server Settings under your account on the left.
Verify that "mail.2020comm.net" is in the Server Name field.

Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left.
Click Edit
Chage the Server Name field to "smtp.2020comm.net"
Select Use name and password under Security and Authentication

Click OK
Click OK

Thunderbird 2 for Microsoft Windows


To set up your Thunderbird client to work with 20/20 Communications' mail server :

  1. Open Outlook, if this is your first account and you get prompted to add an account skip to step 4
  2. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings...
  3. Click Add Account...



  4. Choose Email account and click Next.



  5. Fill in the following information:

    Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
    Email Address: Enter your full email address

    Then click Next.



  6. Fill in the following information:

    Incoming server : mail.2020comm.net
    Outgoing server : smtp.2020comm.net

    Then click Next



  7. Fill in the following information:

    Incoming User Name:
    Enter your full email address
    Outgoing User Name: Enter your full email address

    Then click Next



  8. Fill in the following information :

    Account Name: Enter your full email address

    Then click Next



  9. Click Finish



  10. Click OK

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve email messages.
