Updating you settings for the June 1st upgrade.

Complete the following steps in this order...

Select "View or Change Existing Email Accounts"
Click Next
Select your account on the left then click Change

Outlook 2007


To set up your Outlook client to work with 20/20 Communications' mail server :

  1. Open Outlook, if this is your first account and you get prompted to add an account click Yes then Next Then skip to step 4



  2. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings...
  3. Click New
  4. Choose Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.



  5. Select Internet E-mail then click Next



  6. Fill in the following information:

    User Information
    Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
    Email Address: Enter your full email address

    Server Information
    Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.2020comm.net
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.2020comm.net

    Login Information
    User Name: Enter your full email address
    Password: Enter your password



  7. Click More Settings... and then click the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.



  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Test Account Settings...
  11. After receiving Congratulations! All tests completed successfully, click Close.
  12. Click Next, and then click Finish.
  13. Download the latest updates for Outlook from Microsoft.

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve email messages.
