Outlook 2000 & 2002

Note: Microsoft has dropped support for Outlook 2000 as of June 30th 2004.
Note: Microsoft has dropped support for Outlook 2002 as of July 11th, 2006.


To set up your Outlook client to work with 20/20 Communications' mail server :

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts...
  3. Click Add, and then click Mail...



  4. Enter your name in the Display name: field, and click Next.
  5. Enter your full email address (youremailaddress@yourdomain) in the Email address: field, and click Next.
  6. Enter mail.2020comm.net in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: field.
    Enter smtp.2020comm.net in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter your email address in the Account name: field. Enter your password in the Password: field, and click Next.



  9. Click Finish.
  10. Highlight mail.2020comm.net under Account, and click Properties.
  11. Click the Servers tab, and check the box next to My server requires authentication.
  12. Click OK.

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve email messages.
